I structure my services to your specific goals, body type and needs. If you’d like to start your plan, shoot me an email and let’s get going! Some of my offerings include:
Not just personal training — but also life nutrition counseling, weekly motivation, recipes, baby-step goals and life coaching from someone who has been in your shoes.
Distance training is one of my more popular programs. It allows folks in the area as well as far away to get the benefit of workouts, nutrition goals and constant support. My nutrition program is based on the principals of clean eating and takes 12 weeks to complete in full. Each week I ask you to add one thing to your diet and take one thing away (just for the week). I have found this to be a very effective way to work toward a lifestyle change in small manageable goals.
Distance training is a great option but does require some self motivation. The more you communicate with me about how you’re doing, what you need and what you are struggling with the more support I can offer. I’m always ready to help and am prompt in my responses.
Seasonally I put together group fitness classes that usually involve strength training and cardio for a total body overhaul. If you have your own group you would like me to teach I can also do small group personal training which reduces individual cost significantly. Hit me up and lets figure out what works for you!
Fit with Mama
This often looks a lot like a playdate with exercise. In the summer months we take it outside hitting up local parks, utilizing jogger strollers etc. It’s hard to find time to exercise when you are a busy Mom, so bring the kids and we’ll get it done together!
If you read My Philosophy, then you know I don’t believe in diets. My Nutrition Coaching services are based in the principals of clean eating, but break the huge concept down into small manageable, weekly goals. Whether you want to kickstart your weight loss or sustain a healthier lifestyle by learning how your body responds to various types of food, I can help.
Send me a message for an overview of the nutrition plan to see if it’s right for you.
Many exercise programs neglect a very critical component — mental health. In order for your body to perform at its best, your mind needs to perform at its best. It’s all about making that mind, body, spirit connection to live an all-around healthier, happier life. Part of this has to do with eating a well-balanced diet, but that’s not everything.
My first passion was sociology and psychology. I have nearly 10 years of experience working with at-risk youth and their families utilizing a variety of behavior modification methodologies. Changing your diet and exercise habits alone goes a long way in increasing your natural ability to handle stress but without looking at the deeper reasons for your unhealthy choices your new habits are less likely to stick.
I am not a therapist and if you have a lifetime of issues with self worth traditional therapy may be right for you. I think everyone could use therapy. What I ask of you is to be mindful of your feelings in the process of changing your life– particularly those that are self defeating.
Along with nutrition information and fitness programing I will encourage you to look at the effectiveness of your coping skills, to examine your unhealthy thinking patterns and use meditations and other exercises with practical applications to improve your overall well-being… and like all of my services these are tailored specifically to you.
